Epson Launches Two New Photo Printers Starting At Rs. 73,609

Epson has launched today two new Photo Printer models – the SureColor SC-P607 A3+ inkjet photo printer, and the SureColor SC-P807 – the world’s first 17″ A2 printer equipped with wireless connectivity features. The SureColor SC-P607 is priced Rs. 73,609 whereas the SureColor SC-P807 has a price tag of Rs.89,669.

Ideal for amateur and semi-professional photographers, the SureColor SC-P607 is also targetted at businesses in the architecture, real estates, creative and advertising industries that require high-quality colour reproductions. The higher-end SureColor SC-P807 is particularly suited for serious professional use at homes or in studios.

Both printers feature Epson’s new UltraChrome HD ink. This nine-colour ink set is capable of producing a 2.86 DMax – the highest of any A3 photo printer in the market today. These printers can print on a wide variety of media, from fine art paper, poster boards, canvas and roll media. Both printers come with three-way paper feeding: a high-capacity cut-sheet feeder, a single-sheet front-in and front-out thick paper path, and a roll media feeder. The roll paper unit comes as an add-on option for the SC-P807 and is built-in on the P607.

Both printers offer perfect balance between speed and quality. Moreover, you can print
via a range of devices with their enhanced connectivity options. As long as there is an internet connection and a device fitted with either Apple AirPrint or Google Cloud Print, users can print whatever is on their screen. Both printers are equipped with a built-in 100 Mbit Ethernet, Wi-Fi Direct, Wireless n1 and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 and provide flexible options for seamless and effortless connectivity across platforms and devices with Epson’s iPrint application.

These printers have backlit 2.7 inch tilting colour LCD touch panel, allowing for most functions to be accessed and controlled from the screen, including the initial setting up, all without the need of a PC. These printers require a one-time calibration and the calibrated data can be used for all media types, including third-party media and all print modes.
