Nokia Lumia 510, which was unveiled few days ago in New Delhi, is now available on flipkart in white color for Rs. 9,999 and on Snapdeal for Rs 10,290. Flipkart promises to ship free of charge in 6-8 business working days whereas Snapdeal is offering shipping time of 4 working days, anywhere in India. While launching the product on 23rd October, Nokia India did not reveal the exact price but informed that the price would be below Rs. 11,000. It is expected that this device will start reaching retail shelves very shortly.
The Nokia Lumia 510 Windows 7.5 sports a 4″ inch WVGA (800×480) display with a 5 megapixel rear camera. The Lumia 510 does not have a front camera. The phone is powered by a 800 MHz Qualcomm processor and comes with 256 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage, and Nokia has included 7 GB of free SkyDrive cloud storage. The Lumia 510 does not have a microSD card slot for additional storage. This phone is equipped with a 1300 mAh battery.
According to Nokia, their Lumia 510 is the most affordable Lumia phone yet and feature wise it looks attractive in sub Rs.10,000 segment. But it will face stiff competition from Sony’s Xperia Tipo which is competitively priced and this phone was also launched recently.
