Micromax Launches A110 Superfone Canvas 2 & A90S Superfone PIXEL

As blogged earlier, Micromax is very aggressive to expand its portfolio of smartphones to compete in all segments of prices and with features of imported smartphones. To take this plan forward, Micromax has brought out two more smartphones from its stable –  A110 Superfone Canvas 2 and A90S Superfone PIXEL.

Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2, is a successor to the company’s Canvas A100 device launched in August. The phone sports 5-inch TFT capacitive touch screen IPS display which provides a resolution of 480X854 pixels. This phone runs on  Android 4.0.3 (ICS), and boasts dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) connectivity. This smartphone is powered by 1 GHz dual core processor, and 4 GB internal storage which can be expanded by up to 32 GB via microSD. Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2 comes with a 2000 mAh battery claiming up to 5 hours of talk time, and up to 180 hours of standby time.

Micromax A110 provides all the connectivity options such as 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The phone also sports a 8.0 MP CMOS camera with dual LED flash and offers multiple camera settings for adjusting brightness level, zoom in and zoom out and night mode. The 3G enabled A110 also features a 0.3 MP front camera for video calling, faster downloading and web browsing.

Micromax A110 Canvas 2 is available in two colors black and White. Priced at Rs. 9990/-this model is now available across all leading retail outlets in India.

Micromax A90S Superfone PIXEL is the successor of A90 Superfone Pixel smartphone, which too was launched in August 2012. This Dual Sim phone features 4.3″ inch AMOLED touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and is powered by 1 GHz dual-core processor, 1600 mAh battery that provides a talk time of up to 5 hours and a standby time up to 174 hours, 8 megapixel rear camera and 0.3 megapixel front camera. This smartphone also runs on Android ICS operating system.

Micromax A90S is also available in two colors black and White. Priced at Rs. 12990/-, this model is now available across all leading retail outlets in India.

Micromax has added a spark to its portfolio of smartphones by launching these two new devices, to take advantage of festival season of shopping. It appears after becoming largest seller of tablets in India, Micromax is keen to take lead in smartphone segment also.
