In an event scheduled for the afternoon, Sony is going to launch its flagship smartphones Xperia Z and Xperia ZL. The Sony Xperia Z features a 5-inch full HD 1080p Reality Display, and is powered by a Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor. Sony Xperia Z’s Reality Display is powered by Mobile Bravia Engine 2. It sports a 13 megapixel camera.
This smartphone comes with Battery Stamina Mode that the company claims is for improving the standby time by four times or more by automatically shutting down battery-draining apps whenever the screen is off and starting them up again when the screen is back on. This feature is very significant as we have seen that majority of new smartphone device especially of Samsung like its latest Galaxy Grand drains out the battery very fast even when the phone is not in use.
The Sony Xperia ZL will also be launched and the only difference is expected to be display size. Rest of the features are expected to be same as of Xperia Z. Both these devices will run Android Jelly Bean 4.1 OS and will be upgraded to 4.2 version in due course of time.
We have received media invite for this event and shall update you in the afternoon about its detailed features and prices. These devices are expected to be in the range of Rs. 38,000 to Rs. 35,000. Keep reading this blog!
