Chinese handsets maker has launched today its latest flagship phablet, the Lenovo Vibe Z at Rs. 35,999, which will be available across India from this month. This smartphone was unveiled at the CES in January in Las Vegas.
The Vibe Z sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) wide angle viewing touchscreen display, and is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. This is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) 4G LTE smartphone that runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, and is the first Lenovo smartphone to have 4G LTE connectivity feature.
The Vibe Z is equipped with a 13 MP rear camera with BSI sensor and dual LED flash, and large f/1.8 aperture lens. It also comes with a 5MP front camera with 84° degree wide viewing angle.
The Vibe Z is packed with an integrated and powerful 3000 mAh battery. The smartphone also sports USB OTG that enables you to access data from pen drive while on the go or even charge other smartphones. This phabet also has salient features like gesture controls and photo enhancement software. This device is ultra-slim and is just 7.8 mm thin and weighs 147 gms.
You may recall Lenovo had launched Vibe X smartphone with 5 inch HD display in India in the month of December for Rs. 25,999. This is the first announcement of Lenovo in India after taking over Motorola. How, Lenovo take forward the new aquisition will be very interesting to watch in the coming months. Motorola has a brand equity and its recently launched Moto G in India for budget customers is getting good response. Lenovo + Motorola combination can do wonders and is capable of giving sleepless nights to the competitors.
