Karbonn and MediaTek – the leading smartphone brand and fabless semiconductor company respectively, have today announced a strategic partnership in smartphone business. Under this partnership, Karbonn has introduced new range of Titanium ssmartphones powered by new portfolio of ‘true’ octa-core & hexa-core processors of MediaTek. The new three smartphones launched today are -Titanium Hexa(Rs. 16,990), Titanium Octane(Rs. 14,490) and Titanium Octane Plus(Rs. 17,990). All these three smartphones run the latest Android KitKat 4.4 OS. With this launch, Karbonn has become the first Indian brand to offer the ‘KitKat’ OS experience to the Indian consumers. The three smartphones unveiled today would be available by the end of April.
