It is quite clear that Samsung is now passionate about the word NEO. To tweak its existing smart mobile devices, Samsung has come out with various Neo models like Galaxy Grand Neo,Galaxy Note 3 Neo and now they have silently listed Galaxy S3Neo, which was their highly successful smartphone of year 2012. The Neo tag has been added to Galaxy S3 to relaunch this smartphone with some advanced features but at lesser price. The original Galaxy SIII price for India is Rs. 25,500 and we expect that Neo version of Galaxy S3 will be in the price range of Rs. 18,000 to 20,000.
The Galaxy S3 features a 4.8-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 1.5GB of RAM and expandable storage upto 64GB. Samsung has not mentioned the details of internal memory capacity on its site. The Neo version runs Android Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and is a Dual-SIM smartphone with support for GSM+GSM.
The S3 Neo is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and CMOS sensor, and is adorned with a 1.9-megapixel front-camera. For connectivity, the Galaxy S3 Neo supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB and 3G. The smartphone has dimensions of 136.6×70.7×8.6mm and weighs about 132 grams without battery. This smartphone encompasses Accelerometer,Geo-magnetic,Gyro,Light,Proximity and RGB sensors.The Galaxy S3 Neo is packed with a 2100mAh battery, and will be available in Black, Blue, Brown, Grey, Maroon, Pink and White colors.
The Galaxy S3 Neo also features Samsung’s prominent features including S Voice, Smart Alert, Smart Stay, S Beam, AllShare Play, Buddy photo share etc.
