HTC One M8 Gets D & I Awards And Computex Gold Awards 2014

At the recently concluded Computex Show in Taiwan, the new HTC One (M8), has won the prestigious “D & I Awards” at the show. The new HTC One (M8) was launched in India in April, has well-designed luxurious brushed metal uni-body. This smartphone has been crafted with jewelry grade finish, which gives the look and feel of luxurious wearable gadget.

The HTC One (M8) features a 5-inch, full HD (1080p) display, and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2.5 GHz quad-core Krait CPUs. This smartphone runs the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS with a brand new Sense 6 UI on top. This smartphone has 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card. The HTC One(M8) is fuelled by 2600mAh battery.

The key feature of the new HTC One is its rear Duo Camera, which is the world’s first smartphone to have it. The 4.1 megapixel Ultrapixel camera has a dual colour flash and full 1080p HD video recording. This smartphone is also equipped with a 5-MP wide-angle front facing camera. The Duo Camera boasts a depth sensor for capturing detailed depth information from a scene and enabling a range of beautiful and creative effects that allow you to do more with your images.

The new HTC One (M8) is also equipped with the latest HTC BoomSound technology, for delivering sound that is 25% louder than the HTC One (M7). This phone has dual frontal stereo speakers with a new amplifier, redesigned speaker chambers and a tailored audio profile.

HTC One (M8) is currently available on flipkart in the range of Rs. 46,700 (grey color) to 48,500 (silver color).

HTC at this same show also won the “COMPUTEX Gold Awards 2014” for the HTC Dot View Accessory for HTC Smartphone. The Dot View case is designed to interact with the phone without flipping the cover open. The back of the case features a curved back to go with the design of Smartphone. The silicone flip cover is embedded with a magnet that wakes the phone on opening. The grid of precisely moulded tiny holes has aesthetic value and also creates a visual effect showing time, notifications and weather.
