Lenovo, which is one of the largest makers of smartphones in the world, has launched today the Lenovo A6000, India’s most affordable 4G smartphone. The A6000 was unveiled in the recently concluded CES 2015, and India is the first country to get this very low cost 4G LTE compatible device for just Rs. 6,999.
The Lenovo A6000 will be sold exclusively by Flipkart. Registrations on Flipkart for A6000 will start on 16th January, 6:00 PM and will be open till 27th January till 6pm. The sale will become live at 2PM from 28th January. At the media event, neither Flipkart nor Lenovo has disclosed how many pieces of A6000 will be available for sale in the first lot.
The A6000 supports both LTE bands in India FDD 1800MHz (Band 3) & TDD 2300MHz (Band 40). The A600 features a 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels. At the heart of the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 64-bit, quad-core CPU each running at 1.2GHz. It is equipped with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which is expandable upto 32GB via microSD card.
The A6000 comes with 8MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and 2MP fixed-focus front camera. The device is also thin & light at 8.2mm and 128gms thereby making it easy to fit into your pocket. This device is packed with a 2300mAh battery.
The A6000 comes with Dolby digital certified dual speakers for a perfect multimedia experience. The A6000 runs on Android KitKat 4.4.4 out of the box. This smartphone supports Dual-SIM ( micro SIM) with Dual Standby.
With wide-spread expansion of 46 LTE in India in 2015, the Lenovo A6000 is poised to take on this new technology and give consumers the best performance at very reasonable price. This is the cheapest 4G device available in India with reasonable hardware.
