Xiaomi Unveils Mi Note Phablet With 5.7 Inch Display & Snapdragon 801 Processor

China based highly successful smartphones maker, which is also dubbed as Apple of China, has launched today its powerful Mi Note phablet at an event in Beijing. This phablet is considered to be strong challenger to Apple’s latest iPhone 6 Plus, and is priced at 2299 yuan, whiich work out to approximately US$ 371 and which is very cheap comapred to the iPhone 6 Plus.

The Mi Note comes with powerful hardware. It features a 5.7 inches full HD display with 3D curved Gorilla Glass 3 protection with metal frame. It is powered by a Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz processor with Adreno 330, paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM. This phabelt supports Dual SIM (micro/nano), with Dual Standby, and is compatible with 4G.

The Mi Note is equipped with Sony 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). It also houses a 4MP front camera with large 2-micron pixels. This phablet boasts of Hi-Fi audio system with 24-bit/192KHz lossless playback support. It is fuelled by a 3000mAh 4.4V lithium-ion battery with Quick Charge 2.0.

At the same event, Xiaomi also announced an even more powerful Mi Note Pro, which comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB RAM and a 2K display at a price of ¥3299.

Mi Note will be available in international markets in Q2 2015. As usual, local prices and availability will be announced closer to each market’s launch date.
