ZOPO has launched today its flagship Speed 8 smartphone in India which was announced at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona. The USP of this smartphone is that it is the first smartphone to be driven by a Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X20 processor. Zopo Speed 8 is priced Rs. 29,999 and is available in Black and Silver colors. This phone will be sold via online and offline channels from today itself.
Zoppo Speed 8 comes with powerful hardware and flaunts a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels, 400ppi) Full HD IPS display. Under the hood is very powerful Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X20 core (ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit) processor with 700MHz Mali-T880 MP4 GPU paired with 4GB RAM. This phone comes with 32GB of internal storage which is not extendable.
On the photography front, this phone is armed with 21MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, Sony IMX230 sensor, 6P lenses, Phase Detection Auto-Focus(PDAF) and f/2.2 aperture. It also houses a 8MP front camera with OV8856 sensor, 4P lenses, LED flash and f/2.0 aperture.
This phone runs on stock Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS. This phone also incorporates fingerprint sensor which is on the back behind the rear camera.
This is light weight phone having a weight of 164 grams and its dimension is 152.5 x 76.35 x 9.8mm.
This phone gets its juice from massive 3600mAh battery with fast charging capability. This is Dual SIM phone and offers connectivity options of 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC and USB OTG and FM radio.
Zopo is based in China and relatively new brand in India from the perspective of its popularity in India. They have already launched three smartphones in India – Speed 7, Speed 7 Plus and Hero 1 and Speed 8 is their fourth smartphone for the Indian brand. Zopo 8 will face stiff competition from the popular OnePlus 3 smartphone launched recently in India at Rs. 28,000 and which is getting very good response.
