Samsung India has announced that those customers who have pre-booked Galaxy Note 7 can swap their orders with the latest Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge smartphones. This offer is being made, as you already know, because the Note 7 has been withdrawn by Samsung because of battery issue.
To make the deal sweeter for the customers, Samsung is bundling the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge with Gear VR with an Oculus VR content voucher worth INR 3,300, Samsung Level U – Stereo Wireless Headset for free. Besides this, Samsung is also offering One Time Screen Replacement for a period of 12 months from date of activation.
To avail the offer of swpping the order, the customers are required to visit the retailer or online portal from where they had pre-booked the Galaxy Note7. In case the customers are not interested to avail the above offer then they can get full refund of the pre-booking amount from the retailer or online portal where it was booked.
In our opinion, this is quite an interesting offer as the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge which were launched in India in the month of March this year, are the latest flagship smartphones with beautiful design and very promising features. One must appreciate that due to battery fiasco in Note 7, Samsung is doing its best to offer alternative good devices with freebies to win confidence of its customers.
