VRadio is one such free mobile application which lets you listen to radio channels from all over the world right from your mobile phone. It makes use of internet connectivity of your mobile to stream radio channels thus unlimited internet plan (Uses 6 MB per hour approx) is a perquisite of using this app to the fullest. A lot many channels are available to choose from vi.z African, Asia (Including Indian radio stations), Australia, European, Latin, Malayalam, Middle Eastern, and more, the list is long and I will suggest you to check it out yourself. Regarding the availability of Radio channels, it has varied no. of channels from different regions/countries but not all the channels are available for ex. From Indian stations Radio Mirchi, Red FM, Radio City, Big FM, etc aren’t there. But then again you can listen to those channels otherwise too. VRadio is a great alternative to the radio stations you listen everyday, it adds variety 🙂 Moreover, the reason for me using this app was availability of Religious radio channels. Under the head “Asia/India Religious” you will find 9 stations streaming live Bhajans, Kirtans (From Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib; Harminder Sahib; Akhand Kirtan).
