Mahindra & Mahindra has launched Facelift of its iconic SUV – the All Powerful Scorpio. The new Scorpio comes with higher power and torque, new 6-speed transmission, enhanced performance, imposing styling and luxurious comfort.
Mahindra Scorpio Facelift is priced at Rs. 9.97 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi, for S3 variant) and will be available in Mahindra dealerships across India with immediate effect. The new All Powerful Scorpio will be available in 6 variants, namely, S3, S5, S7 (120 bhp), S7 (140 bhp), S11 (140 bhp) & S11 (140 bhp with 4WD).
The new Scorpio is powered by the mighty mHawk engine which has been enhanced to deliver higher power of 140 bhp and more torque of 320 Nm. Its enhanced low-end torque will ensure a pleasurable city drive & abundant mid-range torque will delivers a pleasurable highway drive as claimed by the company. Moreover, its new 6th generation Borg Warner Turbo Charger makes the drive peppy and responsive all through. The all-new easy shift 6-Speed Transmission optimizes performance, allows cruising on highways and saves fuel.
This new Scorpio has been made more stylish in exterior look with new aggressive chrome grille, new fog lamps with chrome bezels, new muscular alloy wheels, new ORVMs with integrated side turn indicators, new redesigned tail gate with chrome applique and new sleek red lens LED tail lamps.
Its interior has been made plush with premium faux leather seats, faux leather wrapped steering and gear lever, new roof mounted sunglass holder and enhanced storage spaces. For entertainment, it has 6-inch touch-screen infotainment with GPS. For cooling inside, it has fully automatic temperature control. Its refinement in NVH ensures a quieter cabin.
It has abundant safety features such as new reverse parking camera with dynamic assist, new 1-touch lane change indicator dual front airbags, 9.1 Bosch ABS anti-lock braking system, collapsible steering column & side intrusion beams, panic brake indication, engine immobilizer, etc.,
The New Scorpio will be available in multiple seating options of 7, 8 & 9. It is available in 5 attractive colour options – new Pearl White (Only in S11), Diamond White (Except S11), Napoli Black, D Sat Silver, Molten Red and 6 variants – S3, S5, S7 (120 bhp), S7 (140 bhp), S11 (140 bhp) and S11 (140 bhp with 4WD).
