Chinese smartphones maker has added one more smartphone to its product portolio known as Oppo A79. Keeping up with the latest trend, Oppo A79 also flaunts a full screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It has a 6-inch FHD display with 1,080×2,160 pixel resolution with protection of Corning Gorilla Glass and has minimal bezels on both the sides.
Oppo A79 is powered by MediaTek Helio P23 processor mated with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 256GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with layer of ColorOS 3.2. It is packed with a 3,000mAh battery with Oppo’s fast charging technology VOOC. For connectivity, it offers options of 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.
For optics, this phone is armed with 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash. For selfies, this phone has 16MP front shooter with f/2.0 aperture which also has facial recognition feature. This phone also incorporates fingerprint sensor on the back. This phone supports Dual SIM.
This phone is priced 2,399 Yuan ( approx Rs. 24,000) and will go on sale in China starting December 1 in Black and Champagne colour options.
We are doubtful whether Oppo will bring this phone so early in India as in the beginning of this month, the company has launched Oppo F5 with 6 inch FHD+Bezel-less Display, 20MP Front Camera with AI, an octa-core MT6763T MediaTek SoC, starting at Rs. 19,990.
