At an event in Paris, Huawei has launched two smartphones – Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei P20. In this article we shall discuss about Huawei P20 PRO which is the world’s first smartphone to be mounted with Triple cameras in the rear with Artificial Intelligence features. This phone is powered by Huawei Kirin 970 Octa-core CPU (4 Cortex A73 2.36 GHz + 4 Cortex A53 1.8 GHz) + NPU mated with Mali-G72 MP12.
The P20 Pro features a Leica triple camera with the highest total pixel count on a smartphone available in the market. The three cameras have configurations of 40MP RGB sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 20MP monochrome sensor with f/1.6 sensor and an 8MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It also features a color temperature sensor for better color reproduction. It also includes Leica 3x telephoto lens for long-range photography of up to 5x Hybrid Zoom. Its highly sensitive image sensor is capable of capturing low light photos with up to ISO 102400. The other features of the camera are Optical Image Stabilisation,

According to Huawei, the P20 Series automatically identifies more than 500 scenarios in 19 categories and selects photography modes and camera settings to deliver professional-looking images. In addition, HUAWEI AIS steadies handheld night shots for incredible long exposure images without a tripod. It also boasts of 4D predictive focus. In this mode, the camera predicts moving objects and focuses on them with extreme efficiency to capture minute details of objects in motion.
For selfies, this phone is equipped with 24MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI beautification and 3D portrait lighting. It allows healthy-looking skin tone adjustments, enhancements of facial details and realistic 3D feature enhancements.
This phone flaunts a 6.1-inch Huawei FullView OLED Display with resolution of 2240 x 1080 pixels and
aspect ratio of 18.7:9. It has iPhone X-style notch on the display. It comes with 6 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is not expandable. It is packed with 4,000mAh battery with Huawei SuperCharge. It is water and dust resistance device with IP67 certification. This is Dual SIM device and offers connectivity options of Wi-Fi 2.4 G, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with layer of EMUI 8.1. This phone incorporates fingerprint sensor on the front and also has Face Recognition feature for unlocking the phone.
