At an event in New Delhi, Gionee of China has launched today two smartphones – Gionee S11 Lite and Gionee F205 at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 8,999 respectively. These phones will be available via offline stores across the country. The USP of these phones is FullView Display, Face Unlock Features, Dual rear cameras in S11 Lite and rear & front cameras with Bokeh features.
The S11 Lite sports a 5.7-inch FullView (1440 x 720 pixels) HD+ Display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and 2.5D curved glass display. The display has 82.2% screen-to-body ratio. This phone is powered by 1.4GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 processor mated with Adreno 505 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be extended up to 256GB with microSD card. This phone is packed with 3030mAh battery and comes with Hybrid Dual SIM slot. This phone has fingerprint sensor on the back.
For imaging, this phone is equipped with two rear cameras – primary 13MP with Dual Tone LED flash and 2MP secondary camera which boasts of portrait mode besides other modes, which blurs the background. For selfies, this phone has 16MP front camera with features of capturing group selfies and Bokeh selfie mode.
This phone has Curved Body and with the use of micro-nanotechnology, the back cover reflect light from different angles.
The F205 has uni-body design and comes with Triple card slot – two Nano SIM cards slot and one dedicated slot for microSD card. This phone has 5.45-inch (1440 x 720 pixels) HD+ Full View Display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass and also Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by
1.5GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6739 64-bit processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB with microSD card. It comes with 2670mAh battery.
For optics, this phone is mounted with 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera with the Bokeh selfie mode, Face beauty mode and also with 100 Level Face Beauty and 7 Level Bokeh effect features.
Both the phones run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with layer of Amigo OS 5.0. These two phones offer connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. Both the phones have feature of Face Unlock.
Both the phones also have features like App Lock, App Clone which enables you to create 3 different WhatsApp accounts simultaneously and Private Space 2.0.
