At an event in London, OnePlus has launched today its next flagship smartphone, OnePlus 6. As expected, this phone has almost all the features which were leaked before the launch. OnePlus 6 has an all-glass design with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection with water resistant body. It comes with 6.28-inch (2280 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ full view AMOLED display with notch having 19:9 aspect ratio. This phone is powered by the lates 2.8GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU for very fast performance.
The OnePlus 6 comes with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB storage /8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB / 256GB storage. The internal storage of this phone is not extendable. This is Dual SIM phone and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with OxygenOS 5.1.
This phone has fingerprint sensor on the back and also incorporates face unlock feature. On this phone, OnePlus’ signature Alert Slider has been placed on the right side for functions of switching the phone between silent, vibrate and ring mode. This phone is packed with 3300mAh battery with OnePlus’s very fast Dash Charge. It offers connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack.
On the optics front, this phone is mounted with 16MP rear camera with Dual LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture, Sony IMX519 sensor and Optical and Electronic Image Stabilisation. Its secondary 20MP camera has Sony IMX376K sensor with f/1.7 aperture. The rear camera is now capable of shooting 4K videos at 60 FPS and also has portrait mode with advanced HDR feature. It has 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX 371 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and EIS for stable selfies.
