Huawei has introduced today its Nova series of smartphones in India. They have launched Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i. The USP of these phones is their four cameras- two in the front and two in the back with Artificial Intelligence. Both the phones are packed with 6.3 inch FHD+ Display with Notch design.
Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i sports a 6.3 inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The Nova 3 display has 3D curved glass whereas the Nova 3i display comes with 2.5D curved glass. The Nova 3 is powered by Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 970 10nm processor with GPU Turbo for faster gaming, increased performance, battery saving and can detect 10 different vibrations for 30 different scenarios with the help of AI.
The Nova 3 comes with 6GB RAM and128GB of internal storage which can be extended upto 256GB with microSD whereas the Nova 3i has 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB with microSD card. The Nova 3i is packed with Octa-Core Kirin 710 processir with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU.
The Nova 3 is fuelled by 3750mAh battery with fast charging whereas the Nova 3i has 3340mAh battery. Both the phones run on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.2 on the top. Both the phones have Hybrid Dual SIM slot and offer connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS and USB Type-C.
On the camera front, Nova 3 is mounted with 16MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture and secondary 24MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. The Nova 3i has two rear cameras of 16MP with LED flash and secondary 2MP rear camera. Both the phones have 24MP front shooter with f/2.0 aperture and secondary 2MP camera. All the four cameras of both the phones have AI features such as scene recognition, auto recognition of lights, and 3D Qmoji which supports JPG, GIF and video format. These phones also have AI shopping features on rear cameras. You will be required to scan the item required by you and the phones will show all the similar items available on Amazon.
For security, these phones have fingerprint sensor on the back. The Nova 3 and Nova 3i are equipped with an ambient light sensor and a proximity sensor, allowing its face unlock feature to work at any lighting conditions and for fast unlocking, an infra-red sensor is placed beside the camera to help read the face of users in dark environments as claimed by the company.
On the design front, the Nova 3 is covered with a smooth double curved glass panel, and the back panel lets the gradient effect come out with exquisite texture. On the other hand, Nova 3i features a nano-textured film which, when put under light, produces semi-circular curves that subtly express the dreamy gradient effect. Both the phones come in black and Iris Purple colors.
