Oppo F9 Pro which is set to be launched in India by end of this month, will come with VOOC Flash charge, gradient colors, as well as a unique Waterdrop Screen design.
According to Oppo, VOOC Flash Charge applies a low voltage fast charging mechanism to deliver lightning quick charging. With its standardized configuration 5V/4A, it can achieve a charging speed 4 times faster than conventional 5V/1A charging technology. Moreover, VOOC has five layers of protection from the charging adapter to smartphone, including low temperature and voltage, which ensures a fast and safe charge.
OPPO F9 Pro uses a gorgeous gradient color design and will come in three colors – Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue and Starry Purple, with inspiration coming from nature – sunrise, twilight, and starry skies. Moreover, to achieve a unified design, OPPO F9 Pro for the first time applies a gradient design on the side frame also, making the sides and the back a naturally connected whole as stated by the company in its press statement. This device will also feature Oppo’s first FHD+ Waterdrop Screen with a high screen-to-body ratio up to 90.8% for an immersive viewing experience.
On the specifications front, Oppo F9 Pro will sport a 6.3inch (2280 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and protection of Gorilla Glass 6. It will be powered by an
Octa Core MediaTek Helio P60 processor with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It is expected to come with two variants of 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage with provision for extension to 256GB with microSD card. This phone will be packed with 3500mAh battery with VOOC Flash charge for fast charging. This phone will support Dual SIM and will run on Oppo’s ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
For photography, this phone will be armed with 25MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX576 sensor and various AI features to boost quality of selfies. It will be mounted with two cameras at the back – 16MP primary camera with LED flash, f/1.85 aperture for low-light photography and secondary 2MP camera for depth of information.
