Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Avenger Street 160 with ABS. The sporty and youthful New Avenger Street 160 boasts of Single Channel ABS along with a roadster design headlamp with LED DRLs, new graphics with larger Insignia, low & long profile, black alloy wheels and rubberized rear grab.
The Avenger Street 160 with ABS blends the ‘roadster’ and ‘cruiser’ design languages with street control handlebar, low-slung seat and alloy wheels. The new Avenger Street 160 will bring a sporty cruiser experience to the large set of emerging 150-160cc users. Sharply different from other sports offerings in its segment, this bike will create a mass appeal of its own for those young customers seeking cruiser style as stated by the company.
The New Avenger Street 160 is powered by new 160.4 cc engine with 15 PS power. Its power to weight ratio has been enhanced significantly to 103.3 PS/Ton from the erstwhile Avenger 150 at 98 PS/Ton for better overall performance. It has 13.5 Nm Torque at 7000 rpm for effortless city riding. This new motorcycle incorporates Single Channel ABS to prevent wheel locking and increasing stability. It has 260 mm front disc brakes for faster and surer braking and has higher ground clearance (177 mm) for more comfortable city and highway riding.
