Oppo has expanded its portfolio of affordable phones and launched today Oppo A31 in India. This phone comes in two varints of 4GB RAM+64GB of storage priced at Rs. 11,490 and 6GB RAM+128GB of storage priced at Rs. 13,990.
OPPO A31 sport a 6.5-inch HD+ display with resolution of 1600×720 pixels and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The screen comes with a newly designed Nano-Waterdrop Notch which is 31.4% smaller as compared to the previous version and has 89% screen-to-body ratio with feature of Eye Protection. This phone is powered by MediaTek P35 Octa-Core Processor which is combined with 4GB RAM+64GB ROM and 6GB RAM+128GB ROM. The internal storage can be further extended upto 256GB via microSD card. This phone has three slots – two for SIM and third one is dedicated one for microSD card. This phone is packed with 4230mAh battery.
On the imaging front, OPPO A31 is equipped with a 12 MP triple rear camera set-up comprising of AI-enabled primary 12MP lens, 2MP secondary lens for Portrait Bokeh effect and the 2MP Macro lens for capturing objects as close as 4cms with well-defined details. For selfie, the A31 has an 8MP front camera with AI Beautification. The rear camera has a Dazzle Colour Mode which ensures more expressive and vivid images with an extended dynamic range under poor light conditions. It also comes with the Soloop Intelligent video feature which identifies the video type and then gives editing and music option suggestions.
This phone runs on ColorOS6.1.2 (Based on Android 9). It supports smart features like navigation gestures, smart assistant, music party and cycling mode. For security, it has rear fingerprint sensor. For connectivity, it offers options of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS etc.
The A31 will be available in Mystery Black, Fantasy White colors. OPPO A31 6GB+128GB variant will go on sale in the second week of March 2020 while the 4GB+64GB variant will be available starting 29th February 2020 across all offline stores and online platforms. Customers can avail a 5% Instant Cashback using their YES Bank/ICCI Credit cards for EMI and Non-EMI options, on e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Tatacliq, Snapdeal, Paytm starting from 29th February to 31st March 2020.
