OnePlus has just announced OnePlus 8T 5G smartphone which is priced Rs. 42,999 for 8GB RAM + 128GB of storage and Rs. 45,999 for 12GB RAM + 256GB of storage. This phone will be available in two colors of Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver.
The OnePlus 8T 5G is powered by Snapdragon 865 5G Mobile Platform with a Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System, which enables multi-gigabit 5G connectivity, professional-quality photography at Gigapixel speeds, desktop-level gaming with ultra-realistic graphics, and intuitive AI experiences. It has features of dual-mode NSA + SA 5G and Wi-Fi 6 support for faster, more reliable data speeds. This phone comes with 8GB/12GB RAM with 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage. It is packed with 4500mAh battery with ultra fast Warp Charge 65 which is claimed to replenish the battery in just 39 minutes.
The OnePlus 8T sports a 6.55 inch (1080 x 2400 pixels) Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate with features of HDR 10+ support, 1100 nits brightness.
On the photographic front, the OnePlus 8T is armed with quad camera set-up comprising of 48MP main camera with optical image stabilization, 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 123 degree field of view and dedicated 5MP macro and 2MP monochrome lenses. The rear camera has Nightscape mode and Video Nightscape, Video Portraits modes and feature of Video Stabilization. For selfie, this phone has 16MP front camera with Sony IMX471 sensor, f/2.45 aperture and feature of EIS.
On the design front, the OnePlus 8T has glossy glass back in Aquamarine Green model which takes advantage of diffuse reflection, a form of light refraction that scatters light in an expansive array of angles and directions, and provides a clean, gleaming surface that leaves significantly fewer fingerprints. The new Lunar Silver variant has premium matte-frosted glass.
This phone has in-display fingerprint sensor and runs on the latest OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11. Some of the features of OxygenOS 11 are Always On Display clock options, improved one-handed gesture controls and Zen Mode 2.0. This phone has Dual Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. This phone offers connectivity options of 5G,Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1+L5 Dual Band) + GLONASS and USB Type-C.
The OnePlus 8T 5G will be available for early access at 12 am on 16 October for Amazon Prime members on Amazon.in and OnePlus Red Cable Club members on oneplus.in and OnePlus Store app. Open sales for the OnePlus 8T 5G begins on 17 October across Amazon.in, oneplus.in, OnePlus Store App, OnePlus exclusive offline stores and partner outlets.
