For the festival season, OnePlus has announced OnePlus 10R Prime Blue Edition in India. In the month of April this year, OnePlus had launched OnePlus 10R in two colors of Sierra Black and Forest Green and with addition of Prime Blue color, now the customers have three choices of colors to pick their phone. As an added treat, Amazon users who purchase the all-new OnePlus 10R Prime Blue can also avail of a 3-month Amazon Prime subscription for free. This phone will be available on Amazon.in.
To refresh your memory, the OnePlus 10R is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX octa-core chipset offering CPU speeds up to 2.85 GHz and 11% improved multi-core performance compared to the previous generation, and Mali-G510 MC6 GPU. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX delivers 80% improved AI performance thanks to its dedicated AI processor – the MediaTek APU 580. The OnePlus 10R’s 3D Passive Cooling System features the largest vapor chamber– measuring over 4,100 mm2 – along with a new cooling film made from a new generation of high-performance graphite and graphene technology. In total, the OnePlus 10R’s cooling system offers a cooling area of over 35,100 mm2. This phone is equipped with 80W SUPERVOOC charging and a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged from 1-100% in 32 minutes.
This phone features a 6.7 inch Fluid AMOLED display (2412×1080 pixels) with a 120 Hz refresh rate that can adjust between 120 Hz, 90 Hz, and 60 Hz depending on the content being consumed to save battery life. This phone comes with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB (UFS 3.1) storage and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB (UFS 3.1) storage. It incorporates In-display fingerprint sensor and offers connectivity options of USB Type-C, 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ GLONASS and NFC.
The OnePlus 10R runs on OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12. The device will receive three major Android updates and four years of security updates.
For photography, the phone is armed with 50 MP Sony IMX766 main camera with optical image stabilization which is supported by an 8 MP ultra-wide camera with a 119° field of view and a 2 MP macro camera. In addition, the phone has a 16 MP selfie camera that supports electronic image stabilization.
