Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) have introduced the new OBD2B compliant Honda SP160 motorcycle. The updated SP160 offers a bold new design along with great performance and hi-tech features to enhance the riding experience.
The updated SP160 features a new LED headlamp. The other design features include a muscular fuel tank with sporty shrouds, an aerodynamic undercowl, bold muffler with chrome cover, and LED taillamp. It will be available in two variants, Single Disc and Double Disc, with four colour options – Radiant Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, and Athletic Blue Metallic.
The new SP160 now features a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and Honda RoadSync app compatibility, which provides real-time turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, music playback, and seamless access to key information. It also gets a USB Type-C charging port to charge smartphone on the go.
Powering the SP160 is a 162.71cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that is now OBD2B compliant to meet the upcoming government regulations. This motor churns out 9.7 kW of power at 7500 RPM and 14.8 Nm of peak torque at 5250 RPM, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
