Samsung has started the year 2012 by launching Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus, which is an enhanced version of the widely popular Galaxy Ace. The Galaxy Ace Plus will be available in Russia starting from January 2012, and will be gradually rolled out to Europe, CIS, Latin America, Southeast and Southwest Asia, the Middle East, Africa and China.
This smartphone has been built on the previous Galaxy Ace style. Galaxy Ace Plus is contained in a modern and minimalist casing with rounded edges. Featuring a 3.65″ inch HVGA display, the smartphone is backed by a 1 GHz processor and HSDPA 7.2 Mbps connectivity. This phone is equipped with 2 GB of shared storage capacity for multimedia content and up to 1 GB of direct storage for applications.
Galaxy Ace Plus will run on Android Gingerbread viz. version 2.3. This phone has new music playback functionality that features a play progress bar and the ability to view music tracks in folders. Call features allow users to reject calls with text messages.
This smartphone can be called old wine in new bottle, but in order to remain in the limelight, this is smart trick by Samsung to introduce Galaxy Ace Plus. Customers are already fans of Samsung smartphones and they will happily swallow this old wine also. Samsung is going to have very successful year 2012.
