Acer has expanded its portfolio of Iconia tablets and launched its compact 7 inch tablet – the Acer ICONIA A1-713. This tablet has 3G connectivity and also has voice calling support. The Iconia A1-713 is priced at Rs. 12,999 and is available across India.
The Acer Iconia A1-713 sports a 7 inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels with wide viewing angles, and is powered by a Quad Core Cortex A7 1.3 GHz processor. It comes with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. It is equipped with a 2MP rear and VGA front camera for video calling. This tablet is packed with 3040 mAh battery which is claimed to provide 7 hours of continuous video playback.
The Iconia A1-713 runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2 and will be upgraded to 4.4.2 Kitkat OS. The company has not given the exact timeframe for the upgrade. This tablet measures 116x193x8.9mm and weighs 305 grams. Besides 3G, this tablet also has connectivity options of Wi-Fi 802, 11/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0.
