Acer India today launched the Acer Liquid Series of smartphones – the Liquid Jade, and the Liquid E700, which will be sold exclusively by Snapdeal.com at Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 16,999, respectively.
The Liquid E700 features a 5-inch IPS display with a HD (720×1280 pixel) resolution with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and Zero Air Gap technology. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB ROM, which is expandable. It is equipped with an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front camera with flash.
It is powered by a large 3500mAh battery, which is claimed to provide up to 24 hours of talk time, 60 hours of standby time, 12 hours of video viewing and 100 hours of music playback.
For connectivity, the Liquid E700 offers options of 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. This is very light and sturdy device and its weight is 155 grams.
The Liquid E700 runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS and supports three SIM cards.
On the other hand, Acer Liquid Jade also sports a 5-inch IPS display with an HD (720×1280 pixel) resolution having Gorilla Glass 3 protection with Zero Air Gap screen. This smartphone is driven by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with a Mali 400 GPU, and coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage which can be extended upto 32GB via microSD card.
The Liquid Jade comes wtih a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, 0.3 second autofocus, and 1080p HD video recording. It also houses a 2-megapixel front camera. It offers same connectivity options available on the Liquid E700.
This smartphone also runs on Android KitKat OS and supports Dual-SIM. It is packed with a 2100mAh batery and has dimensions of 140.5x69x7.5mm.
