Apple Fans in India – there is one good new for you! Your beloved device, iPhone 4S will be available in India, hopefully by the end of this month. The iPhone 4S features a dual-core processor, a 8 megapixel camera and also a revolutionary artificial intelligence based personal assistant called Siri which works via voice recognition.
Aircel has revealed on its official Facebook Page that they will launch soon iPhone 4S in India. If rumor mill is to be believed, the exact date could be 25th November, 2011. It is further speculated that launch date could be 25th November, 2011 which is Friday, and on previous occasions also, Apple has launched its products on Fridays only – iPad on January 28, 2011 i.e Friday. It was followed by the launch of iPad 2 on April 29, 2011 – again a Friday and iPhone 4 on May 27, 2011 – yet again a Friday!
As far as the price is concerned, nothing is official yet however, it is speculated that iPhone 4S would be expensive in India. The 16 GB variant will cost close to Rs 40,000/- and the top of the line 64 GB variant will most likely cross the Rs 50,000/- mark.
Despite lot of iPhone fans in India, Apple Inc. has never given importance to Indian market whereas the other manufacturers of handsets give topmost preference to India market because of it huge potential. Hope Apple Inc. in future keep India on priority list and will not disappoint its fans.
