The leading service provider, Airtel has announced data offers for mobile customers which include Data Cashback, Family Data Share, Smartphone Surprises and many more data benefits that will be offered to customers completely free of cost.
Airtel mobile customers can now get a daily morning credit of 50% of data (2G/3G/4G) they consume in between 12.00am-6.00am. Customers can avail the offer by just sending the SMS <NIGHT> to <121> or by giving a missed call to <55555> or logging on to myAirtel app to opt in for the offer. This offer is now open for Airtel prepaid mobile customers while the offer will be extended to postpaid customers soon.
Second offer is Family Data Share Plan for Airtel prepaid mobile customers who are on 3G/4G. Similar to the Airtel myPlan Family that the company launched for its postpaid customers last year, this initiative will enable an Airtel mobile customer to become a primary family member and then add any 4 of his/her loved one to their 3G/4G data pack enabling all of them to consume data from this primary data pack. To avail this, customers have to just SMS <SHARE> to <121> and add members to their existing data pack.
Airtel has also launched the Smartphone Surprise offer, which will be applicable to those customers who upgrade their mobile device on Airtel prepaid. These customers will be entitled to get exciting gifts ranging from double data benefits, free data for up to a year, tablets, Bluetooth speakers, headsets, etc. This offer can be availed by both existing and new customers. All prepaid customers buying a smartphone from online portal Snapdeal can also enjoy an additional onetime offer of Rs. 750/- off on the device.
Besides above, Airtel customers can now download unlimited songs for free on Wynk Music and also enjoy 5 free movies on Wynk Movies. Both these offers however do not include any waiver on data streaming on these apps, data charges will continue to be applicable as per usage.
All the above offers are being rolled out across Airtel circles in a phased manner from today.
