Alcatel One Touch has expanded its portfolio of smartphones in India and launched today a new series of smartphones with a focus on south and west regions. The smartphones announced are in two series – Idol and Hero.
The high-end smartphone is the Alcatel One Touch Hero, with a 6-inch full-HD OGS screen, and is powered by a 1.5GHz Quad Core processor. This phone comes with features like dual screen display, compact design and handwriting recognition. The phone has a 13 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32 GB. It is packed with powerful 3400 mAh battery. This phone is having sleek design and is just 7.9mm thick. Hero comes with black crystal touch panel and brushed metallic finish.
On the other hand, the Alcatel One Touch Idol series consist of the Idol X, Idol Mini, Idol 2 and Idol 2 mini. These models have screen sizes ranging from 4.3 inches to 5 inches, and have narrow 2.4mm bezels.
All the smartphones are in the price range of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 30,000 and are available in four premium colors. The company has not given the model- wise price details. These smartphones run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
