Android 4.0.3 or Ice Cream Sandwich came with bucket load of changes, major code rewrites and performance enhancements. However, there were still some issues with ICS update especially manufacturer customized versions.
With Android 4.0.4 ICS update, further performance enhancements were made including bug fixes, petty issues. Moreover, ICS was made more smooth as compared to version 4.0.3. Now there’s no official word on when Samsung will be pushing out this update to it’s flagship device Galaxy S 2 (lets not talk about other devices).
Thanks to Sammobile, good guys there have laid their hands on leaked build of Android 4.0.4 coming from Samsung itself. Following are the details about the available ROM:
- PDA – I9100XXLQ5
- MODEM – I9100XXLQ5
- CSC – I9100OXALQ5
Do note that this ROM is for international version of Galaxy S II i.e I9100 NOT the I9100G variant. Users of I9100G should NOT flash their device with this ROM, it’ll brick your device. Nobody wants that 🙂
Head over to Sammobile firmware page to download the Android 4.0.4 for Galaxy S 2 and enjoy the awesomeness!
