After launching Magiq and Magiq II tablets, Beetel Teletech has now launched a new tablet Magiq Glide in India. The new tablet runs on Android 2.2 operating system and has following features:
- 7″ inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen
- 2 megapixel front and rear camera
- 8 GB internal memory (expandable up to 16 GB)
- 2200 mAh battery
- WiFi and 3G
- 1 Ghz processor
The price of this tablet is Rs. 11,999/- and this tablet will give stiff competition to Reliance tablet, which is almost in the same price range. However, it will be known when the consumers start using it whether it is worth the price. Nowadays, smartphones and tablets are arriving in the market almost everyday and lot of hype is being created but once they are used thoroughly only then the worth of a particular device is established.
Recently, there was lot of noises about successful launch of Kindle Fire tablet in US for US$ 199 and its supplier – Amazon.com has sold millions of devices but of late, lot of complaints have started pouring in. Another tablet to hit the market, which is very cheap is Aakash, priced at Rs.2500/- and can be ordered now. But only reservation about this tablet is whether it will work successfully or the invested money will go to dustbin. Only the coming days will tell and if Aakash tablet is successful then it will bring revolution in tablet market.
