Apple iPhone 4S Battery Drain Issues Still Remain After iOS 5.0.1 Update

Apple’s iOS 5.0.1. update was supposed to remove  the battery problem on the company’s latest iPhone 4S, but some users are still complaining that the fix didn’t work and, in some cases, made the problem worse.

Responses about battery life after the software update have been mixed, with some saying that the issue has been completely resolved, while others have seen no change and still others have said that the battery leaks have worsened since they downloaded the latest update.

Even Apple has admitted that some issues pertaining to battery life still remain.“The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS5 devices,” Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller said. “We continue to investigate a few remaining issues”.

Apple also faced problem  last year over the previous iPhone’s antenna, which would lose signal when gripped a certain way, a problem known as “Antennagate”. Apple gave away free cases and updated the software to address those complaints. The iOS software runs on the iPhone, as well as the iPad and iPod Touch media player.

Hope all the remaining issues will be addressed as early as possible by Apple and users will have trouble free experience of beautiful device – iPhone 4S.
