Asus of Taiwan is all set to launch ZenFone 3 series of smartphones in India. Asus has sent us media invite for Z3nvolution event in New Delhi on 17th where they will launch ZenFone 3 range of smratphones comprising of ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Ultra and Zenfone 3 Deluxe phones. These phone were unveiled in Taiwan in the month of May this year.
The Zenfone 3 flaunts a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super IPS LCD display. This smartphone is driven by Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded upto 128GB. This phone comes with 16 MP rear camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, phase detection and continuous auto focus. It also houses 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 88-degree wide-angle lens.This phone is packed with a 3000mAh battery and also incorporates fingerprint sensor.
The ZenFone 3 Deluxe comes in various variants and the high end model sports a 5.7-inch Full HD (1920 by 1080) Super AMOLED display, the latest Snapdragon 821 processor, 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be extended upto 256GB via microSD card.
The ZenFone 3 Deluxe is equipped with 23MP rear camera featuring the latest Sony IMX318 image sensor, a large f/2.0 aperture lens, and 4-axis optical image stabilization. It also houses a 8 megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
ZenFone 3 Deluxe has a built-in fingerprint sensor on the rear of the phone which is claimed to unlock the phone in just a fraction of a second.
This phone gets its juice from a 3000mAh battery with fast charging (Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0) supports. It also has reversible USB 3.0 Type-C port.
Finally, the Zenfone 3 Ultra is a phablet and features a massive 6.8-inch Full HD (1920 by 1080) display. It is packed with Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor, Adreno 510 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM, which can be expanded UPTO 128GB, 23MP rear camera with Sony IMX318 sensor having 4K video support, 8MP front camera for selfies with 85-degree wide-angle lens. The other USP of ZenFone 3 Ultra is that it comes with massive 4600mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
All the phones run on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Zen UI 3.0 and comes with Hybrid Dual SIM (micro+nano/microSD). All the three phones offer connectivity options of 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C.
