ASUS has today launched the 2nd generation Zenfone Go 4.5 – ZB452KG, a 3G- enabled smartphone at starting price of Rs. 5,299. You may recall that ASUS had launched Zenfone Go 4.5 in India in the month of December last year. The difference between the second generation Zenfone Go 4.5 and earlier version is that the new version is now powered by Qualcomm 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU processor compared to Quad-CoreMediaTek MT6580M processsor clocked at 1.3GHZ in earlier version. The new variant is packed with 2,070mAh removable battery compared to removable 1600mAh Polymer battery of earlier version.
The other difference is that the new version now comes in two different camera specifications- 0.3 MP + 5 MP or 2 MP + 8 MP front and rear respectively. The new variant is also equipped with ASUS’ PixelMaster technology and offers 16 special camera modes to help users capture sharp and crystal-clear images while also having the ability to digitally enhance these images on the phone itself. Rest of the specifications are same in the new version compared to earlier version.The new variant will be available in 6 colors – Glamour Red, Ceramic White, Yellow, Silver Blue, Gold and Silver.
The 2nd generation Zenfone 4.5 also features a 4.5 inch FWVGA display with resolution of 480 x 854. It comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM, extendable to 64GB via microSD card. It also comes bundled with 100 GB of Google Drive storage, free for ever.

This phone also runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Zen UI on top.
