Asus of Taiwan which has got huge success with its Zenfone range of smartphones in India, has launched new version of Zenfone Selfie phone with design change only. If you remember, Asus had launched Zenfone Selfie in India at Rs. 15,999 with host of other phones. They have launched now Zenfone Selfie (ZD551KL) with Diamond Cut Back to give it more appealing look on the back. The price of new looking device is Rs. 12,999 and is available on Amazon now. It will start selling in retail outlets from September onwards. It is available in a range of colours – Glacier Gray, Sheer Gold, Polygon-Illusion Diamond White, Illusion Polygon Blue, and Illusion Smooth Pink.
Asus has not changed any hardware specifications in the new variant. The new Zenfone Selfie also comes with a 5.5-inch (1080x1920p) LCD display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection and supports Dual-SIM. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 3GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage with the capacity to extend it to 128 GB. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with a new version of Asus ZenUI.
It is selfie-focussed smartphone targetted for selfie crazy audience. It is equipped with 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture lens and auto- laser focus lens with dual-color real tone flash. It comes with13MP front snapper with f/2.0 aperture, wide-angle (88-degree) lens with dual color real tone flash and selfie panorama feature. These cameras come with Toshiba sensors.
This phone is packed with 3000mAh battery. This phone also supports 4G LTE bands with downloadable speed of upto 150Mbps.It also offers other connectivity options of WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, AGPS, Glonass and Micro USB etc. It also incorporates Accelerator, E-Compass, Proximity, Ambient light, Hall and Gyro sensors.
