At a mega event in New Delhi, Asus has launched today three smartphones, which were previewed last week. These three smartphones are – Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone 2 Selfie and Zenfone 2 Laser.
The top of the range smartphone launched today is Zenfone Deluxe 2, which has same hardware features as of ZenFone 2 and only difference is its back cover, which is made of premium polygonal design in white, blue and red colours. This diamond cut design gives it crystal effect and its texture offers a good grip. The other beauty of the abck cover is that its shade changes when you move the phone.
Priced at Rs. 22,999, the ZenFone 2 Deluxe will be available in 64GB internal storage variant, which can be further extended upto 128GB via microSD card. Asus will also introduce 128GB variant later and the company has not disclsoed the price of this variant.
Besides diaomond-cut back panel, the Asus Zenfone Deluxe 2 has same hardware features as of ZenFone 2. Zenfone 2 Deluxe features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1280x1920p) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is driven by a 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom processor Z3580 with 4GB RAM. It is equipped with a 13MP PixelMaster rear camera with f/2.0 wide-aperture lens, and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies.
This phone supports Dual-SIM and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with customisation of Asus ZenUI. It is packed with a massive 3000mAh battery to address the problem of frequent charging, and will be good enough for full day use on single charge, as claimed by the company.
ZenFone 2 Deluxe is capable of supporting 4G/LTE connectivity with downloadable speed of upto 150Mbps.
