Besides ZenFone 2 Deluxe, Asus has also launched today ZenFone 2 Selfie and ZenFone 2 Laser smartphones. The ZenFone 2 Selfie is priced Rs. 15,999 and ZenFone 2 Laser has a starting price of Rs. 9,999.
The Asus Zenfone 2 Selfie as its name implies is selfie-focussed smartphone targetted for selfie crazy audience. It is equipped with 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture lens and 13MP front snapper with f/2.0 aperture. These cameras come with Toshiba sensor, laser autofocus and dual-LED flash.
The ZenFone 2 Selfie sports a 5.5-inch (1080x1920p) LCD display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection and supports Dual-SIM. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB/ 3GB RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage with the capacity to extend it to 64GB. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with a new version of Asus ZenUI.
This phone is also compatible with 4G LTE with downloadable speed of upto 150Mbps.
The Zenfone 2 Laser comes with laser auto-focus to justify its name. It comes in three variants. All the variants are Dual-SIM devices, Gorilla Glass 4 protection and also run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with overlapping of new version of Asus ZenUI. All variants are equipped with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture lens and laser Auto Focus having 0.3 second focus time and dual-LED flash. They also houses a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture lens. All the variants get juice from 3000mAh battery. All are compatible with 4G LTE with downloadable speed of upto 150Mbps.
The first variant priced at Rs. 9,999 has a 5.5-inch HD (1280x720p) display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor in combination with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The second variant priced at Rs. 13,999, has 3GB of RAM and is driven by a Snapdragon 615 SoC. The third variant of Zenfone 2 Laser has a 6-inch screen and is priced Rs. 17,999.
