It appears that mid range smartphones with good build quality and smartply priced are getting tremendous response in price-conscious Indian market. Asus is the latest beneficaiary of this trend and after launching its ZenFone series of smartphones – ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5, and ZenFone 6 – last week in India, it is getting rave reviews which is translating into impressive sales figure.
Asus has claimed that since its debut in India on 9th July, they have been able to sell 40,000 units of ZenFones in four days. ASUS Zenfone Series is available exclusively on Flipkart and through offline ASUS authorised channels. Asus has not given break-up of sales figure i.e which particular model has been sold the most. But our estimate is that ZenFone 5 must have moved the most because 5 inch is the ideal size display, which is preferred by the Indian consumers.
