Asus has launched today two budget smartphones in India – Asus ZenFone Lite (L1) and ZenFone Max (M1). Both the smartphones come with 5.45 inch (1440 x 720 pixels) HD+ IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 82% Screen to Body Ratio. These phones are powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 processor.
The ZenFone Lite comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 256GB via microSD card. This phone is packed with 3000mAh battery. For security, this phone has Face Unlock feature but misses out on Fingerprint sensor. This phone is equipped with 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus. For selfies, it has 5MP front shooter with LED flash and f/2.4 aperture. Both the reara and front cameras comes with various modes including Portrait Mode.
The ZenFone Max (M1) is packed with 4000mAh battery and comes with 3GB RAM/32GB of storage which can be further expanded upto 256Gb via microSD card. For security, this phone has Face Unlock and fingerprint sensor on the back panel. For imaging, this phone is armed with 13MP camera, 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and LED Flash. For selfies, it has 8MP front camera with 4P Lens, f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size and LED Flash. Front and Rear cameras come with various Modes including Portrait Mode.
Both the phones run on ZenUI 5.0 based on Android Oreo. Both the phones have two slots for 4G VoLTE SIMs and third slot is dedicated one for microSd card. Both the phones have metallic finish and comes in two colors of Black and Gold.
ZenFone Lite (L1) will be available at an introductory price of Rs. 5999 and
ZenFone Max (M1) will be available at an introductory pricing of Rs. 7499. Both the phones will be sold exclusively on Flipkart.
