BLU, headquartered in Miami, US, which launched two affordable Windows 8.1 phones in India, last month through Snapdeal, has expanded its distribution network in India for its devices. Besides Snapdeal, BLU smartphones will also be available on Amazon.in.
Just to remind our readers, two BLU affordable Windows phones were announced in the last week of September. These two phones are BLU Win JR LTE and BLU Win HD LTE, priced at Rs. 5999 and Rs. 7999, respecctively.
Both the Win JR LTE and Win HD LTE have almost same specifications except the screen size, camera and battery capabilites. Both the phones will support 4G LTE networks in India. These two phones run on Windows 8.1, and can be upgraded to Windows 10 for free.
The BLU Win HD LTE features a 5-inch HD display (720 x 1280 pixels of resolution) with BLU NexLens Technology (OGS + Full Lamination). It is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front snapper. It is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU in combination with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory extendable to 64GB via microSD card. It is packed with 2500mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Win JR LTE sports a 4.5-inch display (480×854 pixels). It is driven by same 410 Snapdragon processor, which has been provided on Win HD LTE coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage extendable to 64GB. This phone comes with 5.0 mega pixel autofocus rear camera with LED Flash, as well as a VGA front facing camera for Skype video calls and selfies. It gets its juice from 2000mAh battery.
