BOULT Emerges as India’s Fastest-Growing Wearable Brand -IDC Report

BOULT brand of wearable products has demonstrated remarkable growth in the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) and overall wearables market, according to the latest report by the International Data Corporation (IDC). The report highlights, Boult registered a 52% surge in shipments, making it the fastest-growing wearable brand in India. While the overall wearable market saw an 11.3% YoY decline, BOULT expanded its market share from 9.7% in 2023 to 12.9% in 2024, solidifying its position as India’s leading homegrown TWS (True Wireless Stereo) brand.

India’s wearable sector faced significant challenges, with smartwatch shipments declining by 34.4% YoY and earwear growing marginally at 3.8%. Despite this industry-wide slowdown, BOULT recorded double-digit growth, driven by aggressive product innovation, strategic pricing, and premium positioning in the competitive smart audio segment. BOULT’s total market share increased from 6.9% (CY23) to 8.6% (CY24), reflecting 10.8% YoY growth, while BOULT’s TWS market share rose from 10.7% in CY23 to 13.0% in CY24, reflecting a 32.8% YoY growth.

BOULT has reported INR 600 crore revenue in 2024-25, with expectations to surpass INR 800 crore (excluding taxes) in the current financial year. Furthermore, the brand’s Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) now exceeds INR 1,000 crore, reflecting strong consumer demand and market presence. The brand continued to strengthen its premium positioning by expanding the BOULT x Mustang collaboration, which has led to a 10% increase in market share within the INR 1,500 – 2,000 TWS segment.
