Building upon the success of Moto G, which is claimed by Motorola to be the most successful smartphone in the history of Motorola, the company has launched today its most economical smartphone Moto E for just Rs. 6,999. Like Moto G and Moto X, this smartphone will also be sold exclusively on e-commerce site Flipkart.com from midnight. At the launch event, Flipkart also declared that Moto G has become the only smartphone, which has been sold in maximum numbers on an online portal.

The Moto E has decent features for the starters. It has a 4.3-inch display with a qHD (540×960 pixel) resolution with 256ppi pixel density. This smartphone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen with water-nano coating which is claimed to provide a litle bit of water resistance. The Moto E is  powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor along with Adreno 302 GPU coupled with 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. This smartphone is equipped with 5MP rear camera and does not have front camera. The Moto E supports Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM), and is fuelled by a 1980mAh battery. This smartphone measures 124.8×64.8×12.3mm and weighs142 grams. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack.
