At an event in New Delhi, Chinese brand has launched today two new smartphones – Coolpad Mega 3 at Rs. 6,999 and Coolpad Note 3S at Rs. 9,999. These smartphones will start selling from 7th December exclusively on Amazon.in.
The Coolpad Mega 3 is an updated version of Mega 2.5D which was launched in the month of August at same price. The Coolpad Note 3S is advance version of Coolpad Note 3 which was launched in October at Rs. 8,999. The USP of Coolpad Mega 3 is that it comes with triple-SIM slots and separte slot for microSD card. On the other hand, the Note 3S incorporates a fingerprint sensor on the back.
The Coolpad Mega 3 sports a 5.5-inch IPS HD display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It is packed with 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 64 quad-core processor combined with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. It gets its juice from 3050 mAh battery which is claimed to offer 200 hours of standby time.
This phone is mounted with an 8MP front camera for clicking selfies with f/2.2 aperture and 80.1 degree field of view. This phone also has 8MP rear camera which has f/2.2 aperture and LED flash.
This phone has dimensions of 154.4×76.8×8.35mm and its weight is 170.5 grams. It will be available in Gold, Grey, and White colours. This phone comes in plastic body with patterns on the back cover. The back cover is removable to place three SIM cards and microSD card.
On the other hand, the Coolpad Note 3S also features a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display with 2.5D screen protection. Under the hood of this phone is 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 MSM8929 octa-core processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be extended further by 32GB via microSD card.
This phone is equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture.
This handset gets its juice from a 2500mAh battery and supports Dual SIM. This phone has dimensions of 154.5x77x8.6mm and weighs 167 grams. This phone will be available in Gold and White colour options. This phone has metal designed body and fingerprint scanner is placed behind the rear camera.
Both the phones support 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Cool UI 8.0 on top.
Both the phones announced today also supports Relaince Jio SIM and the the buyers of these phones can avail the Reliance Jio SIM at reliance stores by sharing the device’s purchase invoice.
