As written by us earlier, another Chinese brand Coolpad has forayed into Indian market today with the launch of two smartphones in India. These two smartphones are : Dazen 1 priced at Rs. 6,999 and Dazen X7 has a price tag of Rs. 17,999. These two smartphones will be sold exclusively on Snapdeal.com. These devices will be available in India from June 9 onwards on Snapdeal. Registrations for Dazen 1 will open on Snapdeal today and this will be sold via flash sale method whereas Dazen X7 will be sold openly.
The Coolpad Dazen X7 has frameless and unibody design. It is made of aircraft material. This phone sports a 5.2-inch full HD Super-Amoled display (1920x1080p) with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6595 octa-core processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card.
The Dazen X7 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Coolpad’s own Cool UI skin on it. According to the company, this device will be updated with the latest Androd Lollipop OS in due course of time.
The Dazen X7 is equipped with a 13MP rear Sony camera with f/1.8 lens, and 8MP front facing camera. It is packed with a 2,700mAh battery with extended power technology, which the company claims result in extended battery life of up to 50%.
The Dazen X7 supports Dual-SIM(Mini SIM/Normal SIM) and 4G LTE Indian network bands. The other connectivity options of this smartphone are Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hot spot, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS etc. This phone comes with Proximity,Light,G-Sensor and E-compass sensors.
The Dazen X7 will be available in Gold and Titanium white colours. It has dimensions of 146x74x6.5mm, and its weight is 141 grams.
On the other hand, the Dazen 1 is also Dual-SIM smartphone and features a 5-inch HD display (1280x720p). It is driven by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage expandable up to 3GB via microSD card. It also runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with customsied Cool UI skin on it.
The Dazen 1 equipped with an 8MP rear camera with Auto-Focus, f/2.2 lens and LED flash, and 5MP front facing camera with Auto-Focus. It is packed with a 2,500mAh battery with the patented extended power technology.
For connetivity, the Dazen 1 offes options of Indian 4G LTE networks, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hot spot, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS etc. It has dimensions of 141×71.5×9.3mm. This smartphone will be available in Moon Dust grey and baby snow-white colours.
The Dazen 1 will compete with Xiaomi’s Redmi 1S and Lenovo’s A6000 Plus smartphones, but it has better features compared to Redmi 1S and Lenovo smartphone.
Coolpad has tied-up with HCL to render after sales service for Dazen range of smartphones across India via its 300 service centers.
