Micromax has launched today the successor to their highly successful Unite 2, which is known as Micromax Unite 3, which comes pre-loaded with 10 regional languages – Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya, Bengali and Marathi. The Unite 3 also incoporates new Unite Messaging Service, which facilitates the users to translate and transliterate in the language of their choice with the patented ‘Swipe’ feature.
According to Micromax, ”one can type, chat or change the menu of their Unite 3 in their preferred language. The ‘Swipe’ feature of the smartphone is powered by Firstouch which helps the consumers to type faster in their regional language using the patented Regional Keyboard with Matra and Word prediction (With over 2 lakh words for each language)”.
The Micromax Unite 3 is priced Rs 6,999, and is available in White & Blue colors. Moreover, the Vodafone consumers will gett 500 MB of free data per month for 2 months on purchase of this device.
The Unite 3 features a 4.7-inch (480×800 pixels) WVGA IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MTK6582M) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM extendable to 32GB via micoSD card. It is equipped with an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and 2-megapixel fixed-focus front camera.
The Unite 3 is a Dual-SIM smartphone and runs on the latest Android L Os. For connectivity, it offers options of – 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. It is packed with a 2000mAh battery.
The Unite 3 comes with a number of smart gestures fetures such as Smart Awake for accessing your favourite apps faster as you set pre-gestures; First Touch launcher for clicking picture and searching your contacts; HotKnot for sharing images and videos etc, and Talkback for providing spoken feedback to help low vision users.
The Unite 3 also comes with an App bazaar in regional languages which enables the consumers to download more than 10,000 applications in their regional languages and an intuitive Menu in regional languages with sound assistance.
This device comes pre-loades with various apps such as Ask me, Chaatz, Clean master, Dr Safety, Facebook & Facebook Messenger, Hotstar, Newshunt, PayTm, Quikr, Snapdeal and Swiftkey.
