YU, the new online brand from Micromax, which launched Cyanogen OS powered Yureka smartphone last month in India, has released its first India specific Theme ‘Republic Day’. This special tri colour theme is specifically designed for all the YUREKA users on the occasion of India’s 66th Republic Day. The ‘Republic’ theme can be downloaded from the YUREKA theme store.
It is very simple to download the Republic Day them and the users have to follow very simple procedure, as detailed below to have this theme on their Yureka smratphone:
- Open the Theme app on your YUREKA
- Search for “Republic” in the top right corner search bar
- You will see the theme named “Republic Day”, Click on it
- You can read more about the theme & click on the “Free” button to download the theme
- After downloading the theme you can click on the “Apply” button to select and apply the theme
The Yureka smartphone supports Dual-SIM and features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 267ppi and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor (MSM8939), coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It has internal storage of 16GB, which can be extended upto 32GB via microSD card.
The Yureka is equipped with a 13-megapixel Sony Exmor CMOS sensor rear autofocus camera with an f/2.2 aperture and flash. It also houses a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front camera for the selfies lovers. It is fuelled by a 2500mAh Li-Po battery, which is claimed to provide talk time up to 9 hours, standby time up to 310 hours and video playback time of up to six hours.
The Yureka measures 6/8.8×154.8×78 mm and for connectivity, it has options of 3G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Yureka phone has price tag of just Rs. 8,999.
