After successful launch of Sony Xperia S, Sony is ready to bring its second Android smartphone Xperia U to Indian market this week . This smartphone has hit on online retail website of Flipkart and they have started taking pre-orders for this device and the price set by them is Rs. 16,499/- inclusive of all taxes, with free shipping.
Sony Mobile India had already announced the smartphone in the country along with Xperia S and Xperia P last month. It features a 1 GHz dual core processor, 3.5″ inch TFT Touchscreen with 854x480p resolution and 5 MP Primary Camera and 0.3 MP Secondary Camera.
Xperia U will come currently with Android 2.3 operating software, but company has already promised the Android 4.0 – ICS update for the smartphone at appropriate time.
