Garmin Vivofit Fitness Band Launched At Rs. 9990

Garmin Corporation has launched Vivofit fitness band that automatically greets users with a personalized daily goal, tracks their progress and reminds them when it’s time to move.Vívofit will be sold exclusively by Flipkart for Rs. 9990. It is available in black and slate colour. You can also  purchase purple, teal and blue colour bands. The band comes with both small and large sizes in the box.

Vívofit displays steps, goal countdown, calories, distance covered, and time of day. Vívofit has two replaceable batteries that is claimed to last over one year and is water-resistant for up to 50 meters. It is compatible with ANT+ heart rate monitors for measuring fitness activities and can also wirelessly sync with compatible Bluetooth 4.0 smartphones.

This band has curved display of size 25.5 mm x 10 mm that always stays on. Vívofit is capable of learning users’ current activity level, and assigns an attainable daily goal. If you are dffoing desk job and are inactive for long and wearing Vivofit band then you need not worry. This band will remind you to become active. A red move bar appears on the display after one hour of inactivity and builds when users have been sitting too long. Walking for a couple of minutes will reset the move bar, and get users out of the red.

Vivofit also helps you to ascertain your sleep patterns. If you set the sleep mode when going to bed, vívofit will monitor the quality of rest. With the touch of one button, users can wirelessly sync vívofit with Garmin Connect, a free online fitness community with currently over four billion miles uploaded by users. At Garmin Connect, users can see a complete picture of their progress through easy to read reports and graphical representations, including their total sleep hours, as well as periods of movement and restful sleep.
